A practical checklist for evaluating a vault

The order to read the numbers in, and the disqualifiers worth acting on immediately.

Read in this order

1. Age and history length — is there enough evidence at all? 2. Maximum and current drawdown — can you survive the path? 3. Consistency — positive months and profit concentration. 4. Manager stake. 5. Only then, returns.

Reversing this order is how people end up in the highest-APR vault on the platform three days before it gives everything back.

Common disqualifiers

Under 30 days old. A single day contributing most of lifetime profit. Manager stake near zero with a large depositor base. Deposits closed. Equity flat then suddenly vertical — usually one leveraged bet that worked.
